WORKFORCE
The workforce of our five companies totalling 300 come from various countries in the region including China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
They possess extensive knowledge and rich experience in their respective areas of expertise.
Our management and supervisors have more than 20 years of experience in the engineering, marine and offshore industries.

MATERIAL CONTROL
We practise strict control in material handling.
Our Purchasing Manager/Operations Manager ensures that all materials used in the projects are of the highest quality and value for money.
The store personnel ensure that all materials purchased are accounted for and stored properly. All materials issued from stock are thoroughly inspected before use
GROWTH AND MAJOR MILESTONE
SeaWorld Marine Pte. Ltd. was founded in 2006 by Mr K S Yong, a veteran in marine and offshore industry. With a small office and some 30 staff at Pandan Loop, its initial operations were to meet requests and project requirements of its clients.
The company grew over the years through expansion and diversification. In 2007, SeaWorld Engineering Pte Ltd was established. In 2008, as a strategic move to facilitate future developments, the Qingdao Starry Lion Marine Shipping Co. Ltd. was established. The following year, it started building 10,000 tonne barges and tugboats, as well as venturing into offshore drilling platform support services.
There was no looking back as the company continued to expand its businesses in the region, to countries including China, India and Indonesia. SeaWorld Offshore Pte. Ltd. was established in 2011, followed by PT Ocean Asia Pacific (Indonesia) in 2012. In addition, Qingdao Starry Lion Marine Shipping Co. Ltd (China) was established in 2014, followed by Starry Lion SeaWorld Marine Co. Ltd (China) 2015.
With these developments, the companies gradually evolved into a group that provides not only core shipping services, but also diversified services in shipbuilding and repair, as well as marine support services. Today, SeaWorld Marine has become a well-known name in the engineering, marine and offshore industry. Its diverse range of services cover ship maintenance and repair, FPSO Conversion Project, Turret Piping, LNG process & storage plant and LNG conversion vessel, piping systems, steel structure works, out fitting works, workshop fabrication, rig platform construction and offshore high-pressure mud system works. Its clients include prominent firms such as Shanghai Shipyard, Leeden National Oxygen Ltd (Leeden NOX) Sembmarine and ASL Marine, among others.
Supported by a team of experienced staff who constantly undergo skills and safety training, SeaWorld Marine believes in the highest quality and safety standards. It is Bizsafe Star certified, ISO 9001:2015 quality certified, and OHSA 18001:2007 safety certified. Besides strict material control, it also invests in the latest state of the art equipment to improve productivity and efficiency, so that all projects are completed in time with the highest quality.
Looking ahead, SeaWorld Marine will continue to consolidate and strengthen its operations in Singapore. In addition, it is looking into extending its reach to new markets, and expanding its operations to additional locations in the region.
